Vacation home Lutje Stee

Welcome at the website of Lutje Stee.

De Holterij

De Holterij is the name of a farmhouse in Schildwolde (province of Groningen) in The Netherlands. In former times the name “holterij” was used for a piece of land where trees were grown. To the farmhouse belongs a cosy vacation home called Lutje Stee. The name Lutje Stee means a small homestead. Lutje Stee was rebuilt in 2007/2008 at the place of an old shed. About 50 years ago the shed was used for pigs, calves and chicken. Because the shed was in bad condition, it had to be rebuilt, and was changed into a vacation home.

Lutje Stee

Lutje Stee is situated at the yard of our farmhouse and is suitable for up to 4 guests. It is a brick (and insulated) home and has got floorheating in the whole house, and a woodstove in the living room. In the kitchen you will find a gas stove with hood, a microwave oven, a fridge and a small freezer. There is a dishwashing machine as well. The crockery set is calculated for 6 persons. Lutje Stee has one bedroom with 2 boxspring beds, a wardrobe, chair and table. In the living room there is a sofa for either 1 or 2 persons. There is a TV with DVD and radio as well. There is a toilet, a shower cabin, and a washing machine as well as several cleaning, washing and ironing tools. There are hardly any thresholds, so it is suitable for wheelchairs. All rooms are on the ground level. Outside there is a lawn and a terrace with garden chairs and -table.

Behind the vacation home there is a shed with a carport.
